Craig Donaldson

     Cantautore originario del Colorado, Craig Donaldson esordisce nel 1973 con I Rosewood, gruupo di folk-rock che pubblica un solo album. Nel 1976 l'artista incide un paio di singoli per l'etichetta Great American per poi scomparire fino al 1980, anno in cui pubblica "You'll Never Get Away With It", primo album da solista. Il disco si allontana dal folk del gruppo precedente, proponendo un brillante pop-rock ritmato e ben arrangiato, in alcuni brani arricchito da una sottile orchestrazione. Rimane però l'unico lavoro per oltre vent'anni fino a quando Donaldson, nel nuovo millennio, pubblica privatamente alcuni album di soft-rock, non brutti ma abbastanza anonimi
