Gene Redding

     Cantante statunitense scoperto da Etta James, Gene Redding pubblica un solo abum per la Capitol nel 1974. La produzione e la scrittura della maggior parte dei brani è affidata alla coppia Dennis Lambert e Brian Potter che riescono a dare vita ad piacevolissimo lavoro. Merito anche degli arrangiamenti di Michael Omartian e degli ottimi musicisti ospiti tra i quali Wilton Felder, Ben Benay, Dean Parks, Larry Carlton e lo stesso Omartian. Non ultimo il merito di Redding che firma un bel pezzo come "Gotta Find A Way" e intrpreta in maniera ottimale la miscela di pop, soul e funky messa in piedi dai due produttori.
