Strange Weather (MCA 1992)

     A quattro anni di distanza dal precedente album, Glenn Frey torna a pubblicare un lavoro sempre con l'aiuto alla produzione di Elliott Scheiner, ed il risultato é ancora pił interessante del gią buono "Soul Searchin'". Un disco molto ricco, composto da ben dodici brani cantati pił tre brevi strumentali, in cui possiamo trovare ancora vivo l'amore dell'artista per la musica nera e nello stesso tempo anche le sonoritą che possono rimandare ai tempi d'oro degli Eagles. Come sempre le canzoni sono quasi tutte scritte insieme a Jack Tempchin, che contribuisce alla creazione di ottimi pezzi come "River of dreams", "I've got mine" e la title-track, ma é soprattutto la deliziosa "Part of me, part of you", inserita anche nella colonna sonora di "Thelma & Louise", che fa rivivere un momento di gloria al country rock degli anni '70.
