     Storico trombettista dei Tower of Power per tutti gli anni '70 e session-man per un'infinitą di artisti, Mic Gillette pubblica il suo primo album solista dopo un'attivitą pił che trentennale. Il lavoro si avvale della presenza di tanti musicisti con cui Gillette ha collaborato in passato, tra cui troviamo la formazione dei Tower of Power al completo. Di notevole importanza sono anche i contributi di Bill Champlin, che presta la sua voce in due brani, e di Lenny Williams, che canta la bella ballata "I like that". Nel complesso un disco piacevole che spazia tra pop, soul, funky e qualche richiamo alla musica brasiliana, senza mai cadere nella banalitą. Da notare la particolaritą degli stacchetti fiatistici che separano un brano dall'altro.
