Upstairs

     Gruppo di Francoforte, in Germania, gli Upstairs pubblicano privatamente il loro unico album nel 1980. Il disco, una rarità assoluta prima della ristampa del 2020, ci offre un un piacevole pop-rock venato di funk e jazz, con tastiere e basso sempre in primo piano a creare un ritmo sincopato ricco di groove. Il sound di riferimento è certamente l'AOR americano del periodo e, pur non arrivando a livelli di qualità eccelsi, il lavoro degli Upstairs può riservare delle interessanti sorprese e merita certamente l'ascolto.
